We humbly thank the following folks for their contribution to Design is Love. Each has played a big role in the development of our site and brand. Check out these links and give some support to each of our talented partners and volunteers.
There’s not much we can say about Thom, other than this site wouldn't be here without him. Designislove.com is a testament to his skill and generosity. Thom programs by day (and night in this case) and plays in a pretty cool band. Check out their site.
We recently connected with the super-talented illustrator / designer David Senior on "The Book" (yes, Facebook). As he puts it: "...I like to make awesome pictures". We couldn't agree more and we're happy to share his work as our third guest artist for inwords.
We first experienced Claudia’s unique sense of humor when she submitted a poster to the Design Fund. We now know she’s a super talented artist from Buenos Aires who hates frogs and loves ice cream. See more of her work in the inwords archive.
We’re pretty sure Chris doesn’t know how to say “no.” On top of being a one-man wrecking crew when it comes to design / illustration, he somehow finds time to help us out. Check out the inwords section to see Chris’ work as our first visiting artist.
Lisa is one heck of a Design is Love advocate. She recently shared the DIL story on her blog and also included us in her INK Magazine article, alongside many talented designers from Connecticut. Now it’s our turn to write…two words: thanks tons!
A while back, our office was located in the same building as Lanny—and he worked directly above our studio. Lanny was often subjected to our loud music and laughter-filled afternoons. Somehow, he agreed to shoot the image for our Comic Haiku Poster.
Matias was one of the first people we approached about doing an illustration for our business cards. At that point (almost two years ago) this whole thing was a rough idea and he put a lot of blind faith into Design is Love. For that we say thanks.
